An independent charity providing a vital year round lifesaving service, rescuing those in need around the Duddon coastline
As an independent charity Haverigg Inshore Rescue Team is entirely dependent upon donations from the local community, with no regular funding or assistance from other organisations. Although a large majority of our costs are kept down by the efforts of our own volunteers large costs are still present due to the need for specialist equipment, training and regular maintenance – ensuring we maintain our high standards of reliability.
This sees us with a significant annual running cost, any and all donations to help us maintain our 24 hour rescue service to Duddon coastline would be gratefully received and would ensure that whenever the call comes in – we can be there for those in need.
